What You Can Do To Lose Weight Really Fast

Hey… as part of your personal development I have decide to include a small post on weight loss. I’m a firm believer that if you don’t feel good about the way you look and feel then your personal and spiritual development will suffer in the long run.

Take the time to get into shape and lose some of that extra weight. You are not alone in your quest….

You’ve heard it over and over that rapid weight loss is not healthy for you. But, you have to take into consideration what really fast is and how much weight is too much weight to lose quickly. If you were tipping the scales at around 200 pounds like I was then a weight loss of 5 or 6 pounds a week would be ideal. An achievable amount of weight loss for you if you are 300 pounds could be about 10 pounds of weight loss per week. Rapid weight loss is ultimately relative to your current physical condition and your overall weight.

Get in shape to lose weight
It is probably safe to say that like me you are not in the best of shape. Like me if you were in top condition you wouldn’t need to lose weight really fast. You know what this is leading to. You have to begin an exercise program if you are to have any chance of losing weight really fast or at all. Now I’m not saying that you have to workout like they do on “The Biggest Loser” but you need to start burning some calories to really lose weight fast.

Start today to loose weight really fast
You can start today by taking a long walk after you have eaten. It doesn’t have to be a marathon. You don’t have to start power walking. Go take a long walk where other like minded people are exercising their way to health and happiness. There is strength in numbers and you will see other people that are also trying to lose weight really fast.

While you are restricting your calories and starting to lose weight you will be able to exercise at an even greater pace. What once was a chore to walk down the stairs is now becoming a breeze. Don’t settle for less, challenge yourself to walk further and walk faster then you did the day before. If you were able to walk one mile yesterday then try and walk a mile and a half today.

In no time at all you will be walking faster and further with less effort. You will also notice that you are really losing weight fast. Your body is becoming a calorie burning machine as you start to look and feel like a million bucks.

You are feeling healthy and you are seeing progress in your quest to lose weight really fast. Your goal for the second week should be to match the first weeks losses. Look with anticipation to getting on that scale. Don’t let the scale scare you. The scale is now your one true friend when it comes to losing weight. It doesn’t lie to you and tell you that you are doing great. It is honest and you have to be honest with it. Don’t eat things that you shouldn’t because you are not only cheating yourself you are cheating your new best friend.

To lose weight really fast it takes knowledge and effort.
It comes down to the right amount of effort on your part if you are going to lose weight really fast. I am proof that rapid weight loss is possible. Realistic expectations are key to long term success along with knowing what your body is capable of. If 5 pounds is all you can lose in a week then make that your goal. You may not reach you goal of rapid weight loss if you try to lose more weight than is healthy for you.
