Where Can I Get B2 Posters Printed
B2 posters are 500mm by 707mm but that may not mean a great deal to you, so let me put that into English.
The B paper sizes are similar to, but just a bit larger, than A paper sizes.
So B2 is just a bit bigger than the A2 paper size.
You will be familiar with a regular A4 sheet of paper. The kind of thing that your letterhead is printed on. You will also instantly recognise A3 paper. That's the larger sheet that you might put through your photocopy.
Well A2 represents two of those A3 sheets next to each other. And of course B2 paper is just a bit larger.
Why are the B numbers slightly bigger?
Because they allow for some spare paper around the edge. This is sometimes known as 'bleed' and it is designed to be trimmed off afterwards by your printers. Bleed means that the image on your B2 poster can be printed right up to the edges of the page. Or to put it another way, it bleeds off the page.
B2 posters look good because they are large enough to be eye catching, but cost effective enough to produce them on mass.
A good litho printing company can produce B2 posters at a low enough cost that printing a larger number won't break your budget either.
So all in all we like the B2 Poster format because it combines cost effective promotion with a paper size big enough to give your marketing that extra edge.
