Learning Hindi Is As Easy As ABC
Did you ever hear that phrase before? Learning <whatever> is as easy as ABC. Sure you have. We hear it all the time by people who are trying to sell us something. Well, I’m not going to lie to you. Learning Hindi is NOT as easy as ABC. In fact, in may be one of the most challenging languages there are to learn. However, having said that, it is quite possible for anybody to learn Hindi without having to knock themselves out in the process. This article will share a few tips to help make the process a little easier.
Let me start out by saying that in order to learn any language, you have to have the proper mindset. That means going into it with a positive attitude. Too many people say things like, “Oh, that’s too hard. I can’t learn that.” Quite honestly, if that’s going to be your attitude, you might as well give up before you even begin. It is critical that you believe in yourself before taking on this challenge.
To help make the task a lot easier and a lot more pleasant, you want to set yourself up with a reward system. In other words, each day you want to set a goal for what you’re going to learn. At the start, it will be the Hindi alphabet itself. Once you’ve mastered this much, reward yourself with something. It could be something as simple as a treat from the freezer or something as elaborate as a night out on the town. But treat yourself to something. This will give you more incentive to get through the training.
Next thing you want to do is actually setup a schedule for yourself. Too many people try to tackle too much at one time. In other words, they try to eat a 10 course meal in five minutes. It can’t be done. You need to pace yourself. Unless you’re under some deadline to learn this language in a certain amount of time, there is no rush. So make a schedule. Go through whatever course you decide on and break it up into days. A good course will do this for you. Stick to the schedule. Don’t jump ahead unless you are ready to do so.
