The Power of Praise and Healing
The need for healing can go across the board to emotional, spiritual, and relational as well as the always all important physical healing that at some point everyone might need or seek.
The might also the be the need for collective healing where many people are in the same of similar boat in needed a type of healing and they can both intercede for themselves and for others in the manner of healing
Healing is sought from physicians with an understanding that modern medicine and the gifts of healing are a manifestation of the gifts and abilities that the Holy Spirit gives and cultivates within individuals and the profession as a whole.
There is no exact formula to prayer other than calling upon the Lord with sincerity but there are aspects of prayer that are important in the manner of prayer principles such as thanksgiving within prayer which is mentioned many times in the Bible.
A key consideration with respect to healing is praise in particular.
The prayer of praise according to specific passages in the Bible carries keen significance in the quest for healing in prayer.
Praise is a recognition and deference to the awesome presence, majesty and power of the Lord as the Lord in his sovereignty comes close to the individual with the gift of healing.
In the hopes that prayer efforts bear all good fruits including the fruits of healing, don't overlook the prayer of praise and the gift of being able to praise the almighty creator of the all.
Verses from the prophetic book of Isaiah present and clear link to the prayer of praise and healing.
Isaiah Chapter 57 verses 1 say
18 I have seen his ways, but I will heal him;
I will guide him and restore comfort to him,
19 creating praise on the lips of the mourners in Israel.
Peace, peace, to those far and near,"
says the LORD. "And I will heal them."
20 But the wicked are like the tossing sea,
which cannot rest,
whose waves cast up mire and mud.
There is a clear link in this verses to the power of praise and the corresponding development of peace, not only to one individual but possibly to many both far and near, in the manner of comfort, restoration to him representing the one individually, either him or her.
Whether the praise mentioned in this verses is before, during or after it is for sure a direct and within part of the process and manifestation of the healing presence of the Lord as mentioned and pictured in these wonderful passages of scripture in Isaiah.
Those who have chosen to remain in the ways of wickedness and have decided to bypass praising the Lord, have set themselves in troubles that are liked the restless and potentially dangerous and certainly uncontrollable seas which in their powerful elements generate mighty waves which cannot be quelled or quieted by any human means even today with the high technology that has developed.
The contrast is to the peace that the Lord gives, which otherwise will thereby surpass the great power of the sea and usurp it, and this contrast gives an indication that the peace and healing that the Lord may bring, is greater the any possible might element out there, included the vast and innumerable great waves of the mighty oceans.
The peace and healing the Lord may bring in, even to one individual, can surpass in power all the great waves of the seas
This all reiterates to the power of praise which extends from the lips and voices of individuals, and how much power might be involved within praise and the corresponding, antecedent or subsequent manifestations of the Lord's powerful presence of healing and peace both near, right here to you and afar rather there to others, all potentially emanating from the voice of one, in the voice of praise.
