Cure Mental Anguish - Amethyst Crystals and Gems
Crystals come in a variety of colors. When you discover one that is purple in color, either light or dark, you probably have found an amethyst crystal. There are several ways to enjoy your newly found treasure. You can place it in a special place in your home, maybe creating an alter for yourself. Find one the perfect size to carry in your pocket or even purchase a high quality gem and create a special piece of jewelry for yourself.
Because amethyst is a very good crystal to use for meditation, you can place it on your brow chakra or third eye to enhance a meditative state. The color and the energy of the crystal helps you move your consciousness from that of being self-centered towards something greater than yourself. If you were to hear and understand the amethyst crystal, you might hear: "Let go and trust", or "relax and allow the powers of the universe to guide you". It's not important to really 'hear' the message of amethyst -- this is simply an understanding for you to have when you wish to enhance your relaxation and meditation.
Amethyst crystals can assist you to relax and change your mental state from that of being overworked, over stressed or overwhelmed to a state of peace.
